Let's Chill

Hello friends!! I hope everybody has enjoyed the Holidays! I can't believe that tomorrow is New Year's Eve!!! I'm excited to see what the New Year will bring and hope it involves a lot more crafting!!!!

Anyway, as one of my last projects for 2015, I made this adorable "Let's Chill" card using a cutting file from KaDoodle Bug Designs - Snow Friends (Graphic Design is from Whimsical Inklings by Cheryl).

This card measures 5x7 and was made using a combination of both ReCollections & Bazzill card stock. The patterned paper I used is the "Stacked with Love" Designer Series Paper Stack from Stampin' Up!

After uploading the file into Design Space and cutting all my pieces, I chalked each piece using Color Box Chalk Inks in the following colors: French Blue, Seattle Sky, Dark Brown, Red Barn, Burnt Sienna and Rose Coral.  I then pieced them all together using Aleene's Tacky Glue.

Although you may not be able to tell from the picture, I also used a White Gel Pen, some Wink of Stella (GL. Silver 102) and some Stickles (Ice) on some of the pieces for added highlights, definition and texture.

For the sentiment area of the card, I used ReCollections Printed Tape (Chevron Pattern). I cut out two (2) scallop circles using my Sizzix dies and Big Shot machine.  My sentiment "Let's Chill" is from the Craftin Desert Diva's - Chill Out stamp set. I stamped it onto my scalloped circles using StazOn Jet Black Ink. I also added some Stickles (Ice) to the areas of the "Chill" where it looks like it is snow/ice (again, I apologize if you can't see it in the picture).

And there you have it..... my completed "Let's Chill" card. Thank you all for stopping by today. I wish each and every one of you a Happy, Healthy New Year filled with lots of Love (and crafting)!!!

Christmas Treat Bag Covers

Hi there. Is everybody ready for the upcoming Holiday? As usual, I am still doing all the last minute preparations and running around trying to get everything bought and wrapped and trying not to forget about anybody.  So with that being said.....I made these treat bag covers for some of the staff and teachers at my daughters school.

This is a file designed by Whimsical Inklings by Cheryl and the cut file is from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  These files are way too adorable and so easy to work with. To start, I uploaded the cutting file to my Cricut Explore, re-sized the images and cut them out.  I used both Bazzill and ReCollections card stock.

Once all my pieces were cut, I then used my Color Box Chalk Inks (Colors used: Chestnut Roan, Creamy Brown, Red Barn and Deep Green) and Pebbles Pearlescent Chalks for my shading.  I used Aleene's Tacky Glue to adhere them together and added some highlights with my white Gelly Roll pen.

For the tag I added, I used white tags I had on hand from ReCollections. I chalked the edges of the tag for a bit of extra color. I used twine and buttons I had on hand (again, from ReCollections). My "Merry Christmas" sentiment is also a ReCollections stamp and is stamped on using StazOn Ink (Jet Black). To finish my tag, I added three pearl adhesive gems.

For the treat bag cover, I cut a piece of Bazzill cardstock to measure 4.75" x 11".  I then scored the paper at 1", 5.25" and 6.75".  I used a scalloped die I had to punch out the center of the front panel. I also made a notch at the top center using a small round punch, so that my treat bag would be able to slip through.  I should also mention that I added a strip of adhesive tape to the underside of the top flap, so that it would stay closed and adhered together after my treat bag was added.  I added my delicious treats to my treat bag and once in the cover, tied it off with satin ribbon.

And there you have it, a cute little treat/gift for just about anybody.  I love how they turned out and it really was super easy to do.  I hope you all enjoyed my project for the day. See you all soon!

Lovin' From the Oven...

Good afternoon.  I hope everybody is having a great weekend.  I wanted to stop in and share this double page layout I created using a super cute file from KaDoodle Bug Designs - "Oh Ginger Snaps". I just love how cute these little gingerbread boy and girl turned out.

The  patterned designer paper I used for this layout is from the Crate Paper - Snow Day Pad. I also used Bazzill and Recollections card stock for my paper pieces.

I uploaded my svg file to the Cricut Design Space and cut each piece out using my Cricut Explore.  Once all pieces were cut I used my Color Box Chalk Inks to shade each piece and then assembled them as you see here.

Once my ginger boy and girl were both assembled, I added a few sprinkles to the cookie tree on the girl ginger. These sprinkles are from Doodlebug Design, Inc. and are the Primary Assortment of Sprinkles.

I then cut out 4 frames using the frame from the Simply Sweet Cartridge in Design Space. I chalked the edges of each frame and added three buttons to one corner of each.  The other corner of the frame has a small ginger or tree cookie cutter, also found in the KaDoodle Bug Designs, Oh Ginger Snaps file.

My layout title, "Lovin' From the Oven" was also made in Design Space. I used the Birthday Cakes Font to create it and once it was cut out, I adhered it to the center of a frame.

I think it looks pretty good. I hope you all enjoy it as well.  Thanks for stopping by today! I will see you all again soon!

Milk & Cookies For Santa

Hello there! Today, I'm sharing a Glass and Plate I made especially for Santa!! As far as my kids are concerned, the most important part of Christmas Eve is to make sure that Milk and Cookies are left for Santa to enjoy during his visit.  This file from KaDoodle Bug Designs is just perfect for that! This is the Charmkin Cuties Christmas Eve Bedtime file.

I ended up purchasing the glass and plate from my local Dollar Store.  I uploaded my svg file to my Cricut Explore and sized the images accordingly.  I then cut out each piece of vinyl and put them together and applied them to both my plate and glass. I used a permanent white and black marker for some added highlights on the vinyl and also used a pink marker for the color on the cheeks.  "Milk & Cookies" & "For Santa" are also cut out of vinyl using the Arial Rounded MT Bold font on my Cricut as well.

I think it came out pretty good.  I know my children will be excited about it! Thanks for stopping by today! See you all again real soon!

American Crafts - The Color of Memories Pad
Color Box Chalk Inks
White Gelly Roll Pen

I used my Cricut Explore to cut out all of my paper pieces, title. and photo mats. I then chalked each of my paper piecings and put them together.  My title for this layout is: "'Twas the Night Before Christmas..." I used the Nursery Rhymes font in Design Space to create it. I added stickles to the fluff on my stockings and ribbon and pearl gem adhesives to the presents, placed by each photo mat.

Mr. & Mrs. Claus Cards

Hello there my crafty friends! Happy Friday! Today I am sharing two Christmas cards that I created using the cutest files from KaDoodle Bug Designs - Cutie KaToodles Mrs. Claus & Santa Bear.

These cards each measure 5 x 7. To make these cuties, I used ReCollections cardstock, Blaze Velvet Paper from Sei, Foil cardstock from DCWV and designer cardstock from Doodlebug Designs Inc. - Sugarplums 6x6 pad.

I uploaded my svg files into Design Space and cut them out using my Cricut Explore. I then chalked each piece with Colorbox Chalk Inks and pieced them together.

I added Stickles for a glittery effect to the hat brim and sleeve cuff of Mrs. Claus as well as to the hat and cuffs of Santa.

I also made a bow and attached it to the present that Mrs. Claus is holding using red satin ribbon I had in my stash and added three small red pearl adhesive gems to the holly on her hat.

I used my Banner Dies and Stitched In Circles Dies from Craftin' Desert Divas and adhered the cuts to my card base.

The stamped sentiment on my card is from a Sunny Studios stamp set.

I thought that the card needed a bit more "bling", so I then decided to add some sequins. I used  some Christmas/Noel sequins from ArtMinds as well as sequins from the "Jingle Jangle" assortment from Craftin' Desert Divas.

To finish off my card, I used a white gelly roll pen to add some highlights to both Mr. & Mrs. Claus as well as the stitches on both of my die cuts.

I love how these turned out and I know the two children who I plan on sending these to will love them. Well, that is it for today! Thank you for stopping by and I'll see you all again soon with another crafty project!

Christmas Themed Pocket Letter

Hello there and Happy Friday!!! Today I'd like to share this Christmas Pocket Letter that I just finished.  I think I am truly obsessed with creating these Pocket Letters! They are just so much fun and the possibilities are truly endless.  This one has a home and will be going postal soon. I really hope that the recipient likes it.

Anyway, to create this I used a 9 pocket card sleeve. I chose a Christmas themed card stock from American Crafts, which I cut down to 2.5" x 3.5" for 7 of the 9 pockets.  For one of the pockets (far left - middle row) I cut the card stock at 3.5" x 5" and then scored it at 1.25" and 3.75" to create a bi-fold opening. This pocket is where my letter will be placed. I punched two holes on each flap and added a green ribbon to keep it closed.  My middle pocket I filled with Christmas sequins from ArtMinds and fused it closed with my new fuse tool. (Have to say that I don't know how I made it this long with out that tool!!! It is awesome!!). I added some washi tape at the top of that middle pocket for some added decoration.

The three paper pieced bears that are shown in pockets at the top middle, and bottom left and right pockets are probably the smallest paper piecings I have ever created to date, LOL.  They are all from KaDoodle Bug Designs and are just the cutest files ever. Each file was uploaded, re-sized and cut using my Cricut Explore. I then used by Color Box Chalk Inks to shade each piece and assembled them together. I also used additional items, such as glossy accents, stickles, and pearl enamel gems on each one to give each piece a little extra special something.

In the top left pocket, I created a wreath using the Stitched in Circles Dies from Craftin' Desert Divas. I added some rhinestone gems and tied them together using red satin ribbon that I had in my ribbon stash. In the middle of the wreath I cur out a small tag and added a mini burlap ornament sticker from Holiday Memories By Nicole.

The top right pocket is a flower pattern punched out from a Stampin'Up punch I had. (Sorry, can't remember the name of it). I then stamped the sentiment onto it using a stamp from the Craftin' Desert Diva's "Get Your Jingle On" stamp set. I added some glittered designed tape and two small tags with green buttons to embellish.

The pocket underneath that has some washi tape and two mini burlap gingerbread man and house stickers, again, from Holiday Memories By Nicole.

And for the last pocket (Bottom row, middle), I used a scalloped square punch on some ivory cardstock and stamped a Christmas tree and a merry sentiment on it. These stamps are from ReCollections. I added some stickles to the tree for that extra sparkly look. I also added some more washi tape along the top and bottom of the card and added some red sequins as well.

On the border/margin of my pocket letter I lined it using red and gold rhinestones and I looped three pieces of green satin ribbon through the punched holes. I then used Design Space and cut out the snowflake tag  and "Believe" sentiment. I chalked the outer edges of the tag using green and red chalk ink as well.

Overall, I am extremely happy with how it turned out.  Can't wait to get started on the next one, Hahaha..... Thank you for stopping by today!

Set of 3 - Christmas Gift Tags

Hello my crafty friends! Today I am sharing a set of three Christmas Gift Tags that I created using a file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  I love how this turned out and I can't wait to use them!!!

To make the base of the tags, I used woven paper from DCWV and patterned paper from American Crafts. To create their shape and stitched look, I cut them out using my Big Shot and used my Banner Dies and Stitched in Circles Dies from Craftin' Desert Divas.

I punched a hole in the top left corner of each tag and added a small bow and extra ribbon (so that you may attach it to a gift, bag, box, etc.)  All the ribbon is from Recollections.

And as for my three adorable Reindeers, again, they are from the Christmas Reindeer file which can be found over at KaDoodle Bug Designs. They are all made using Bazzill and ReCollections card stock.

For this first tag, I cut out all the pieces using my Cricut Explore and then chalked each one using Color Box Chalk Ink. I used red and green Stickles on both the garland on her head and the bow of the present. I also added a green pearl gem to the present as well.  The tag on the present says. "No Peeking", and was written using my Cricut as well. Lastly, I used my white gel pen to add a few highlights.

For the second tag, again, I cut out all the pieces using my Cricut Explore and then chalked each one using Color Box Chalk Ink. I used white Stickles on on the rim and pom-pom of the Santa hat. I also added glossy accent to the candy cane and used my white gel pen to add on some final highlights.

For my third and final tag, I cut out all the pieces using my Cricut Explore and then chalked each one using Color Box Chalk Ink. I used red Stickles on the garland on her head and the wreath. I used my white gel pen to add the last of the highlights.

And there you have it..... three adorably cute gift tags ready for the Holidays!
I hope you all enjoyed my craft for today. Thanks for stopping by!

Criss-Cross Turkey Card.....

Hello and Happy Friday!! My creation for today is this super cute Criss-Cross Turkey Card.
This card measures 4.25" x 5".  I used Recollections Card Stock and Designer Paper from the Recollections Harvest Delight paper pad.

For the inside Tag which is removable (as shown below), I used a piece of brown ribbon that I had in my ribbon stash and stamped the "Thankful for you" sentiment from Craftin' Desert Divas -  Thankful Squeaks stamp set.

Mu adorable Turkey friend is the Cutie KaToodles Turkey from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  I used my Cricut Explore to upload the file and cut out all his pieces using ReCollections and Bazzill Cardstock.
Once each piece was cut, I then chalked all pieces using Color Box Chalk Inks.

For the feathers of this Turkey, I used an embossing folder from Darice (unfortunately, I can't remember the name of it and don't have it on hand, sorry!).  For the Turkey's body, I traced the paper pieces onto felt and then glued them in place. I chalked the felt with my Color Box Chalk Ink and using a soft brush, brushed out the fleece to give him that fluffy/fuzzy look. I then added a few highlights and final touches to him using my white gel pen.

And there you have it folks..... another adorable card completed! I hope you enjoyed today's creation as much as I enjoyed making it.  Have a fabulous and crafty weekend and I will be back soon with some more great projects for you!

Thankful for You.........

It is finally November and I am really excited to start working on all of my Fall & Thanksgiving projects! Today I am sharing a Fall/Thanksgiving themed card that I created.

This card measures 5 x 7 and the base of the card was made using Recollections Card Stock. The beautiful fall patterned paper I used is from the ReCollections Harvest Delight paper pad.

I used a die from the Banners Die Set that I have from Craftin' Desert Divas and also used a stamp from the Thankful Squeaks stamp set (Thankful for you) also from Craftin' Desert Divas. I heat embossed the stamped image in "Pesto" Recollections Pearl Embossing Powder, although I don't think you can really tell from the pic...sorry!! To bring out some ore green color in the card, I also gently went over the stitches in the die with a green marker.

For my adorable little squirrel friend, I used the "Nut'n Better Than Fall" file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  She is made using Bazzill Card Stock. I first uploaded the file onto my Cricut Explore and cut out all the pieces. I then used my Color Box Chalk Inks to shade each piece and then put this little cutie together using Aleene's Fast Grab Tacky Glue. I used a Pigma Micron Pen (#005) and a White Gel Pen to then add a few details and highlights.

I wanted to add ribbon tho this card and came across the prettiest fall ribbon in my stash. Both ribbons are from Offray. The vertical ribbon on my card measures 5/8" and the smaller ribbon I used for my bow, measures 3/8".

Once all my ribbon and pieces were attached as I wanted them, I then added a small red wooden leaf button to the middle of my bow for an added embellishment.

I really am happy with how this card turned out.  Let me know what you think by leaving me a comment, thought or suggestion.  Thanks for stopping by and I will see you soon.

Project Life Layout......Breast Cancer Awareness

Hi my crafty friends! I am super excited to share with you today my very first Project Life Layout.  My very talented friend Tara, over at Craftin' Desert Diva's inspired to me to try it out. I saw a PL that she had done for Halloween and I fell in love with it! (Thanks again Tara!!). I think I am now addicted, LOL.  Being that it is October and it is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I really wanted to make sure that I did create a project for this very important cause.

To get started, I first chose my Project Life cards and photo pocket page that I was going to use. The Project Life Photo Pocket Page I decided to go with for this layout is a 12 Design D page. It is a 12 x 12 page and has 8 photo pockets - 4 sized at 4x6 and 4 sized at 3x4.

I then chose my Project Life cards which are all from the "Favorite Things Edition", again choosing
4 - 4x6 cards and 4 - 3x4 cards.  After playing around with my chosen cards and placing them how I thought they would look best in the layout, I started to decorate and embellish (The FUN part!!)

I started off with this first card which is 4x6. Of course, I had to add a paper piecing into this design and had the perfect svg file from Too Cute By Jessica. This file is the "Breast Cancer Cupcake" file. I used both regular Recollections Cardstock and Recollections Glittered Cardstock to make the pieces for this cut file.  After all my pieces were cut, I then shaded each with Color Cox Chalk Inks and assembled. I used a white gel pen for additional highlights and a black Micron pen for the lashes.

My second card is also a 4x6 card. For this card, I used a frame, a banner and some other cardstock pieces from the Craft Smith Card Stock Shapes Kit that I had on hand. I left the top portion of the frame open so that a picture can easily be slipped into this spot if desired. I added two strips of Washi Tape and some Adhesive Pearl Gems to finish it off.

On this next card (3x4), I wanted to keep it open to be used for journaling. The only thing I added to this card is the three pink hearts which were made using Recollections Cardstock.

For this next card (another 3x4), I used the letter tiles in the Craft Smith Card Stock Shapes Kit and shaded the edges of each letter tile using Color Box Chalk Inks. I added two strips of Washi Tape and two pink awareness ribbons from the Breast Cancer Cupcake file from Too Cute by Jessica. These were made using Recollections Glittered Cardstock. And for a final touch, I added some "Pretty In Pink" sequins from Craftin' Desert Divas and stickles.

Again, I wanted another open area for journaling, so I left this 3x4 card simple. My only additions to it are the two hearts which I cut from a Webster's Pages Calendar Journaling Card Pack and shaded using Color Box Chalk Ink.

On this last 3x4 card, I started off by using pink rhinestone adhesive strips to form a border. I used a banner from the Craft Smith Cardstock shapes Kit and added some teal colored rhinestones and some adhesive pearl gems to it.  Again, my hearts were cut from the Webster's Pages Calendar Journaling Card Pack and inked with Color Box Chalk Ink. And of course there is this fabulous sentiment that I could not resist using from Craftin' Desert Divas - "Be Inspired" stamp set.

For my next card which is a 4x6 card, I added a few strips of Washi Tape and a a pink tag from the Recollections Solids Tag Pad. I added a white button and some pink jute cording, also from Recollections.  The pink hearts were cut from Recollections Cardstock and the patterned hearts were cut from the  Webster's Pages Calendar Journaling Cards. I added a few different adhesive rhinestones and of course my three different stamp sentiments - "Be Brave", "Dream Big" & "Choose to Shine" all from The "Be Inspired" Stamp Set from Craftin' Desert Divas.

And then there is my last card, another 4x6. For this card, I chose a butterfly pattern from Cricut Design Space and used another pink ribbon from Too Cute by Jessica.  After adding the pink ribbon to the butterfly, I went a bit "Stickle Happy" on my butterflies wings.  I added another great stamp sentiment from the "Be Inspired" Stamp Set from Craftin' Desert Divas and also added some heart shaped stamps at the top and along the side. This small heart stamp is also from Craftin' Desert Diva's "Wildy Cute" Mini Set. I finished it off with some rhinestone and pearl gem adhesives.

And that is it my friends!! I really have to say that I am totally addicted to these PL pages. I know it is the very first one that I did, but it was just so fun and quite simple to do.  I see a lot more of these in the near future for me.  I would love to receive your feedback on this as well, so please leave me some thoughts and or suggestions.  I will be back soon with some more crafty projects to share with you all.  I hope you have a great day and enjoy the rest of the week!!

A Sweet Treat For You...

Hey there. Look at this adorable little guy....isn't he just the cutest?!?!  I had so much fun making him!

This card measures 6x6 and was created using a file pattern from Too Cute By Jessica.

I used Recollections Card Stock and patterned paper from the American Crafts - Haunted Paper Pad to make this card.

My cute and cuddly furry friend was made using both dark and light colored brown fleece. I love using fleece on my projects, especially when it's an adorable animal like this cute bear!

My cupcake and candy corn pieces were all cut using my Cricut Explore and then inked using Color Box Chalk Inks.

My sentiment was also drawn using my Cricut and I colored the letters in using a Copic marker (110 Special Black).

For the final touches, I added a few highlights using a white gel pen and added some Stickles (I LOVE Stickles!!!) to the cupcake and around my sentiment pieces.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you enjoy this creation. I'll be back soon with another one for you!!

Pop-up Halloween Box Card.....

Hi my crafty friends. Happy Sunday! Today I bring you this wickedly sweet Halloween Pop-Up box card.  This card was super fun to make. I used the "Witches are Brew-tiful" file and the "By the Light of the Moon" file from Too Cute by Jessica.

I have to say that I love all the details that this card shows. I thried taking pics from both sides, just to catch the different elements of the card.

For the front flap of the card, I used an image from the Cricut Design Space to create the "OCT 31" and had the Explore draw it out rather than cut. For the "Happy" (right above it) I had the Explore cut it out and I added stickles to each letter to make it stand out.

I also used my Explore to draw on the potion bottle labels (Bat Wings & Bone Dust) as well as on the front of the cauldron (Witches are Brew-tiful). I love how the white stands out on the dark background.

Stickles were added the the cauldron bubbles and also the buckle and star on my cute little witches hat. And to top it all off, I added a mixture of purple, orange and black sequins.

Materials I used for this project include:
Bazzill Card Stock
Recollections Card Stock
Patterned Paper - American Crafts - "Boo!" Paper Pad
Stickles
Purple, Black and Orange Sequins
Color Box Chalk Inks
White Gel Pen

I hope you guys enjoyed this craft! Feel free to leave me some comments and I will see you soon. Have a great day!

Happy Fall Y'all ...

Happy Friday!!!! I can't believe the week is already over. Today I am sharing a two-page layout that I created using two different files from Too Cute By Jessica.  This layout was so much fun to create!

To create this, I used both Bazzill and Recollections card stock. The patterned card stock I used for the top and bottom borders as well as the acorns and journal area is from the Recollections "Harvest Delight" pad.

I used my Cricut Explore to upload and cut my paper piecings. I used Color Box Chalk Inks on each piece and put them together.

All of the pumpkins and flowers in this layout have been embossed using the Big Shot. I also added Recollections Rhinestones to the middle of each flower as well as the flowers that are also displayed on two of the bears.

The acorn photo mats have been embellished using Prism Floss for the bows.

The pumpkins along the top border are from a Recollections Harvest Embellishment pack.

My journal area, is also embellished with an acorn from The Recollections Harvest Embellishment pack and some extra fall leaves.

I hope you enjoyed the make for today and will join me again soon. Thanks for stopping by!

"A Treat Just For You".....

Happy Thursday everybody!!  I hope everybody is having a great week. I am..... I am happy to announce that I just started as a DT over at Too Cute By Jessica!!! So excited for this new opportunity!!!

With that being said, this is my first DT project that I created using the "Candy Mouse" file from Too Cute By Jessica.  Isn't he just the cutest little mouse?!?!?! I made him using fleece and brushed him out to get that "oh so cute" fuzzy look.

This card measures 5x7 and I used Bazzill card stock for my card base. The patterned paper is from the American Crafts "Boo!" paper pad.

For the little candy treat he is holding, I used Recollections card stock. Using my cricut, I wrote my sentiment "A Treat Just For You" using the Baby Steps font. I wanted to add some more elements to it, so after I pieced the candy treat together, I wrapped it in cellophane and tied each end off with a purple piece of Prism floss. And of course, I had to add some sequins into the mix, cause I just LOVE sequins!!!

I had fun making this card. I hope you enjoyed seeing it as well.  Thanks for visiting! I hope to see you all again real soon!

This card measures 6x6 and is made using Bazzill & Recollections card stock. The patterned paper is from Roylco.

I uploaded this file to my Cricut Explore to cut out all my pieces. For the three(3) bombs, I used the All Mixed Up font on the Cricut to write out the sentiment using a white gel pen. After all pieces were cut and chalked, I pieced them together and added highlights with a white gel pen.

Autumn Fun...

Happy Monday everyone!!!! This morning I would like to share my "Autumn Fun" layout that I created using two files from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.

I used a mixture of card stock and patterned papers from Bazzill, Recollections, American Crafts, Crate Paper & Momenta Paper Pads to complete this layout.

This layout holds two (2) 4 x 6 photos.

I used my Cricut Explore to cut out all of my paper piecings. Once cut out, all pieces were chalked and pieced together.

To add a bit of texture, I ran all of the leaves through my Big Shot machine as well.

I used my Cricut to cut all of the page borders as well as the Title. The title was made using glittered card stock.

I hope you enjoyed my Autumn Layout project for today. Thanks for visiting and I will see again soon!

Autumn Wreath

Hello there. I am super excited to share this Autumn Wreath that I just finished. Isn't just the cutest!?!?!?

The Wreath itself is made using hand cut craft foam leaves. My cute little scarecrow friend, pumpkin patch sign, fence and pumpkins were created using a file from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs. I uploaded this svg file to my Cricut Explore to cut all the pieces. Once cut, the pieces were all chalked and inked and then assembled.  I ran both the fence and the small patch pieces from the scarecrow through my Big Shot to add some texture.

For the sign, "Pumpkin Patch" was printed using the Cricut and then colored in using Recollections markers.  I added some extra highlights to the pieces using a white gel pen and Recollections Masterpiece Markers. Once attached to my leaf wreath, I then added a pretty two-tone bow at the top for the finishing touch.

I just love how the whole project turned out!!! Feel free to leave me your comments and feedback. Have a great evening and I'll see you all again real soon.

Warm Autumn Wishes...

Good Evening!!! I'd like to share this latest creation I've made using a file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  This card measures 5 x 7 and is made using Bazzill card stock and patterned paper from Momenta.

I used my Cricut Explore to upload and cut my svg file of this adorable squirrel. I also cut the patterned paper and printed my Autumn sentiment using the Cricut as well.

After chalking all my pieces, I assembled my little squirrel friend and added some highlights using a white gel pen as well as a few Recollections Masterpiece markers.

I added some "Autumn" sequins which I received from Craftin' Desert Diva's to each of the corners for some added color and to give it that extra "special something".

Birthday Celebration...

Hi there.... I'd like to share this shaker birthday card that I created using the picture inspiration for a linky party which is currently being help at Craftin' Desert Diva's.

This card measures 5 x 7. I used Recollections card stock and patterned paper for my cards base.
Of course, I had to make it a shaker card and love to use non other than Craftin' Desert Diva's beautiful sequins.

I used a mix of the Cotton Candy Sequins which you can find here:
as well as Springtime Flower Power Sequins which you can find here:

I also added a light pink satin ribbon and three robin blue flower brads to the bottom of the card for a little extra embellishing.

Inside the card (which you can see through the acetate), I used the birthday stamp from the Celebration Wordart stamp set which can be found here as well:

It was lots of fun to create this super cute card!
Thank you for stopping by!!

You're Turtley Awesome..

Hi there! Today on the blog, I have this adorable fall themed turtle card.  This card measures 5 x 7. I used Bazzill and Recollections card stock for my paper piecing and as the base of my card.  The patterned paper is from Lilybee Designs.

My cute little turtle friend is a file pattern from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs which you can find here: http://www.littlescrapsofheavendesigns.com/category_22/Weekly-Freebie.htm. Please understand that he is currently listed as the weekly freebie right now.  I do not know how much longer he will be available as a freebie though.

I used my Cricut Explore to upload the file and cut him out. I then chalked each piece before putting him together.  I wanted to make him different somehow and I thought it would be a cute idea to make a "shaker" out of his pumpkin shell.  I used an oval punch to create the cut out and then adhered acetate and foam dots.  I used a mixture of sequins that I had from Craftin' Desert Diva's and Stampin' Up!  After my shaker was formed, I then added two small leaf embellishments (also ReCollections) and a small orange button for an added touch.

Now onto my sentiment..... I used the Natural Tag & Twine Kit from Recollections to created my sentiment tag. And thankfully, I have the Totally Turtle Stamp Set from Craftin' Desert Diva's which you can find here: http://craftindesertdivas.com/totally-turtle/

It was lots of fun making this card. Hope you all enjoyed it! Thanks for stopping by!!

Best Buds

Hello and Happy Monday!! Today I'd like to share this cute Best Buds card that I created using a svg file from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs. I have to say, I think I am obsessed with the Super Hero Kids files. They are just too cute and there are so many different ways to use them.

This card measures 5" x 7". For the card base, I used paper from the Recollections Comic Heros Paper Pad. Batman & Robin as well as the sentiment is made from Bazzill and Recollections cardstock.

Batman & Robin have been cut and chalked and highlights have been added with a white gel pen. I also added some glossy accent to Robin's mask and the Bat on Batman's emblem to give it just a bit of added texture and sheen (Sorry the pic doesn't show it that well). I added star sequins to the sentiment as well to give it that added shimmer and shine.

It is a very fun file to work with and the possibilities are endless.  I hope you enjoyed today's creation. Have a great day and I will see you all again real soon.

Watermelon Mouse......So Sweet...

Hello my friends.  Today I'd like to share this cute little card that I created.  This card measures 4.5" x 6.25".  I used both Bazzill and Recollection card stock for this creation.  My little mousy friend (isn't he just adorable!?!?!) was created using a pattern from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.  I also made him out of fleece to give him that furry-cuddly look.  Once all my pieces were cut, chalked and pieced together, I added glossy accents to the watermelon seeds for some added texture and definition.  My "So Sweet..." sentiment was made using the "Birthday Cakes" font from my Cricut.

I hope you all enjoyed my creation for today.  I will be back soon with more!!! If you love this cute little mouse, I have added him to my on-line store in my website for purchase. Go check it out and let me know what you think.  Thanks for stopping by and have a terrific day!!

Pot Belly Dragon & Pot Belly Panda Cards....

Happy Wednesday my crafty friends!! Today I am bringing you the Pot Belly Collection (Pot Belly Dragon and Pot Belly Panda) from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.  Are these files not the cutest??? And super easy to assemble.  I started with the Pot Belly Dragon.  The dragon himself is made from Recollections textured paper which I think makes him come to life on this card.  Other papers used for this card are from American crafts.  The sentiment "HELLO" runs down the left side of the card on more patterned card stock, again from American Crafts.  I added two orange glittered brads (from Recollections) on the top for some added embellishment.  This card measures 5.5" x 8.5" and is blank inside for anybody to write or stamp and sentiment or note they choose.

Next, I created the Pot Belly Panda Card.  This card also is blank inside for your own thoughts and sentiments and measures 5.5" x 8.5".  All card stock and papers used for this card are from Recollections and American Crafts.  The sentiment "HI" on the left side was written on using the Cricut Explore machine.  I attached four (4) gem brads to each corner of the diamond and attached to the card using foam adhesives to give it that little bit of pop off the card.  I think that they both turned out cute and I am sure that the two children that I am going to send these too will love them (or at least I hope they do, lol).  Well, those are my creations for the time being... now onto something new. Thanks for stopping by and I will see you all again real soon.

"So Berry Sweet"...

Hello there! Today I am sharing a card that I created for a Card Sketch Challenge currently going on over at Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.  This card measures 6" x 6". For this card, I used Bazzill, American Crafts and Recollection Card stock and patterned papers.  All the tiny strawberry seeds (and they are VERY TINY!!!!!) have a glossy accent on them to make them pop. I don't know how well you can see that in the pic, but believe me.... they are there, LOL.  I added three pieces of ribbon with pink gem candy dots as an extra embellishment.

It was a super fun card to create. Now on to my next project...

Thanks for stopping by and I will see you all again real soon!!

You are my Anchor...

Happy Monday all!  I'm here today to share with you this cute single page layout I created using two files from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.  This was the very first time that I created a bear using fleece!! It was fun, but a lot of work.  I think he came out okay for my first time!!

All the card stock used is Bazzill and the patterned anchor paper is from Recollections.  The bear, as I just mentioned is a fleece material and his sailor hat and shirt are card stock.  For the anchor he is holding, The anchor is card stock but I small piece of yellow rope (also from Recollections) to give it that perfect touch.  This layout will hold one (1) 4 x 6 photo.

I hope you enjoy this project and stop by again soon to see my other creations.  Have a great day!!

"B" Bear Card

Hello again! Hope everybody is doing well.  Today I want to share this cute little "B" Bear card that I made for a special little boy I know.  I used a pattern from Little Scraps of Heaven for this card.  I added washi tape across the front of the card to give it a bit more color.  The little bees wings are vellum which I also embossed to give it a bit more dimension.

This card can be customized using any letter and embellishments.  Please message or e-mail me to inquire if you have any questions or would like to order.  You may also visit my Etsy shop as well, https://www.etsy.com/listing/239668432/b-bear-card-blank-greeting-card-paper?ref=shop_home_active_1

Thanks for stopping by and I'll be back soon with another new project!

Hey Diddle Diddle Two-Page Layout

T.G.I.F!!!!  Hi everyone, I hope you all are getting ready to enjoy the nice long weekend ahead.  I know I am!! Before I get crazy busy, I wanted to share this latest layout with you.  The pattern I used is "Hey-Diddle-Diddle" from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs which you can pick up here:  http://www.littlescrapsofheavendesigns.com/item_239/Hey-Diddle-Diddle-Collection.htm

It was fun working with this file.  So many possibilities....  For this particular layout I used Bazzill and American Craft card stock.  I added a few pieces of yellow satin ribbon down each page and the small stars scattered through out are Recollection brads.  The Hey, Diddle, Diddle rhyme in the upper left corner was drawn out using my Cricut Explore.  I added it to an embossed piece of card stock and them put in some yellow stitches.  There are three photo mats, two will hold a 3"x 5" photo and one will hold a 4" x 6" photo.  Each photo mat is also stitched on one side and embellished with a small white button and a bow tied out of twine.

Its the perfect layout for a baby's scrapbook or to just remember those precious moments. I hope you enjoyed today's creation.

I wish everybody and Safe & Happy 4th of July!!! Thanks for visiting!!

Bookmark

Good afternoon!! I'm stopping by this afternoon to share my newest creation.  My daughter had asked me for a bookmark the other day and I did not have one, so I figured I'd make her one.  She also has a love for Bears, so I made sure to incorporate that into it as well.

The pattern I used is from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs and is called "Mom Blocks" which you can find here: http://www.littlescrapsofheavendesigns.com/item_1109/Mom-Blocks.htm

This was rather simple to do.  I cut the bookmark shape out using my Cricut Explore.  I used Recollection Card Stock.  I spelled out her name using Jolee's embellishment stickers that I had on hand and added each one to a different block.  I then attached a small polka-dotted pink ribbon and tah-dah..... instant bookmark. (My daughter loves it too!!!!)

Thanks for stopping by.... See you all soon....
