Welcome Spring....

Hello crafty friends!! Stopping in today to share a sweet Spring layout I created using the adorable "Spring Cow" file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.

This file is just darling and I have been wanting to use it for sometime now, and with Spring here I thought it would fit perfectly on a lovely Spring themed layout. I started by uploading the file to Cricut Design Space and cut out my pieces using my Cricut Explore Air 2. I then inked all of my pieces using Tim Holtz Distress Inks and adhered them together using Art Glitter Glue.

I used my Fancy Frames Dies from Craftin Desert Divas to cut out the three photo mats. I also used my paper trimmer to cut 1/4" strips of patterned paper to create a border around my page.

I wanted a simple title and went with "Welcome Spring". I cut these letters out using my Cricut Explore Air 2. I adhered them onto one of the photo mats I had cut and added some stickles here and there for some added interest.

In addition, I also added some Stickles to parts of the grass, flower leaves and stems and also on the bumble bees wings. I added small drops of Nuvo Crystal Drops in the center of each of my flowers as well. And to finish it off, I added a small rhinestone gem to the bows on the cow and the flower pot.

Below is a complete list of the supplies used to create this Spring layout:

KaDoodle Bug Designs File: Spring Cow

ReCollections Cardstock

Bazzill Cardstock

DCWV Painted Petals Cardstock Stack

Craftin Desert Divas - Fancy Frames Dies

Smiles.....

Good morning & Happy Wednesday!! Stopping by today to share a planner spread that I created in my mini HP using the super adorable "Face Expressions" file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.

I thought this file was super cute and perfect to add to a planner spread without making the pages seem too bulky.  All of my emoji faces were cut using Bazzill Cardstock on my Cricut Explore Air 2. Each piece was inked with Tim Holtz Distress Inks and adhered together using Art Glitter Glue.

I had some fun emoji washi tape in my stash, so of course I had to add it as it goes perfectly with the theme. I added a few small planner stickers from ReCollections and am now ready to fill up my week.

Below is a complete list of the supplies used to create this planner spread:

Bazzill Cardstock
Tim Holtz Distress Inks: Scattered Straw, Faded Jeans, Fired Brick
Art Glitter Glue
White Gel Pen
Craft Smith - Emoji Washi Tape
Happy Planner Mini
ReCollections Creative Year Stickers

I hope that you all enjoyed my planner creation for today.  And as always,
Have a Fabulously Crafty Day!!!

Have a Beautiful Day!

Hello everyone! Today I am stopping by to bring you a super sweet planner dashboard along with two fun spring time planner clips created with goodies from Craftin Desert Divas.

With all of the cold Winter weather and storms we've been having lately here in New York, I can't wait for the arrival of Spring. I used the "Beautiful Day" digital stamp for my dashboard. I used the beautiful tree as my main focal point and took the sentiment, "Have a Beautiful Day", copied it and placed it as a border on each side of my tree.  Because I did not like all of the white space surrounding my image, I used a polka dot stencil and distress inks to create a soft border.

I colored up the tree using Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils. To give my tree a bit of life and interest, I added a small drop of Nuvo Crystal Drops in the center of each flower. I also added a tiny amount of Stickles to a few of the smaller leaves throughout the tree as well.

And last but not least, I had to create some sweet spring time planner clips to match.  I used two of the smaller sized birds from the Feathered Friends Stamp Set. Once colored, I punched them out using a one inch hole punch, adhered them onto two bottle caps and added clear adhesive rounds to protect and finish them off.  I gathered some sheer, satin and lace ribbon from my stash and looped it through my gold jumbo paper clips and added the finished bottle cap.

Below is a list of all the products used to create these planner goodies:

Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils
Heidi Swapp Polka Dot Stencil
Tim Holts Distress Inks: Shabby Shutters, Antique Linen, Victorian Velvet
 ReCollections 110lb White Cardstock
Ranger Stickles - Green Firefly
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Bottle Caps
Clear Adhesive Acrylic Rounds
ReCollections 1" Hole Punch
Gold Jumbo Paper Clips
Celebrate It - Satin, Sheer and Lace Ribbon

I hope that you enjoyed today's planner goodies as much as I enjoyed creating them!
Have a Beautiful (and Fabulously Crafty) Day!!!

Easter Week Planner Spread

Hello everyone!! Today I am sharing a weekly planner spread in my A5 ReCollections planner that I created for Easter week, using the adorable new "Somebunny" Stamp Set that was just released from Craftin Desert Divas. Check it out.....

How super cute is this!!!! This stamp set is perfect for creating cards, tags or any other creative project you'd like, but I love that they are sized perfectly and can be used in planners as well. I just adore these super cute bunnies!!

I added some washi tape, which of course matches my theme and adds super cuteness to the spread.

To create my date banners, I used the small banner die from the Mini Shaker Clip Dies set from Craftin Desert Divas. I cut them out using my Big Shot and added some glittered number stickers to each.  I love how the spread came together perfectly and these adorable bunnies just "pop" off the page.

The complete list of all supplies and materials used to create this spread are listed below:

A5 ReCollections Planner
ReCollections Washi Tape

St. Patrick's Day Luck....

Hello everyone & Happy Wednesday!! Today I am stopping in to share a few St. Patrick's Day inspired projects with you all.

I created two cards along with a decorated wine bottle to add to my St. Patrick's Day home decor using some super cute files from KaDoodle Bug Designs.

For my first card, I used the Eggie Buddies Penguin file. This paper piecing was made using Bazzill cardstock, inked with Tim Holtz Distress Inks and Pebbles Pearlescent Chalks and finally adhered together using Art Glitter Glue. My card base is 110lb Ivory Cardstock from ReCollections. The card mats were cut using Fancy Frames Dies from Craftin Desert Divas on patterned papers from the Easter Express Paper Pad and the Gingham-Linen Rainbow Petite Prints Paper Pad, both from Doodlebug Designs Inc. For the sentiment, I used a clover along with a banner from Cricut Design Space and used my Cricut Explore Air 2 to write my sentiment on the banner using "Baby Steps" font.  I adhered my sentiment onto my card using Foam Adhesive Squares from ReCollections. To finally finish off my card, I outlined both clovers using Stickles to add some sparkle.

For my second card, I used the Cutie KaToodles Clover Bear file. As you can see, these cards were made to match each other and created exactly the same, with the exception of the paper piecing.

For my home decor piece, I wanted to use one of the newer Vinyl Cut Files KBD has just released, so I went with the Vinyl Cuts Lucky file. I had picked up this bottle at my local Dollar Tree a while ago and thought it would be perfect for this. I used the shamrocks and "Lucky" pieces from the file and cut them out onto some green vinyl I had in my stash, using my Cricut. I adhered them all onto the bottle, added some orange metallic mesh tubing inside the bottle and sealed with the cork. (I will eventually get to the store and pick up some small LED lights to add to the inside as well). To finish it off, I used some lime metallic mesh tubing and created a bow that I tied around the top neck of the bottle. I added a green shamrock button, which I had in my stash to complete it.

And there you have it....my St. Patrick's Day cards and home decor piece are complete!! I hope you enjoyed my project share for today.

Below is a complete list of all the supplies and materials used for these projects:

Spring and Easter Planner Designs and Goodies

Hello my crafty friends and Happy Monday!!! Today I am showcasing a new stamp and die set which is part of the Craftin Desert Divas new March Release

These sets are amazing and so very sweet! With Easter coming up, I knew I had to use them in my April layouts. I wanted to dress up the Notes & Thoughts page in my ReCollections A5 planner and then decided to throw some clips and a shaker insert into the mix as well.

For the shaker insert, I colored up a few of the images from the "Somebunny Stamp Set" with Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils. I added them into my plastic page protector which I had cut down to fit my planner and also added some sequins. I used my Becky Higgins Project Life Fuse Tool to seal off my page protector and to finish it off, I added a strip of washi tape along the side.

For the Notes & Thoughts page of my planner, I started off by stamping the month (April) on the top using the Elegant Brush Script Stamp Set from Craftin Desert Divas.  I used the new Window Pane Dies and die cut the window panes using my Big Shot machine and paper from the Easter Express Paper Pad.  Again, the images from the Somebunny Stamp Set are colored using Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils.

The butterfly and dragonfly clips were also created using the new Window Pane dies. I die cut each image out of Gingham-linen rainbow petite prints paper as well as vellum. I layered the vellum on top of the cardstock as I wanted to create a dimensional look. To finish them off, I added small drops of Nuvo Crystal Drops to the body of each and adhered them to small paper clips.

I love how each project turned out and I can't wait to move forward and design the remaining layouts for the month.
