I Love You More Than Candy Corn...

Hello everybody and Happy Halloween!!! Today I am stopping in to share a quick "Treat" I whipped up just for the occasion.

This card turned out super cute and was so very fun to create.

To begin, I started off with creating my Candy Corn paper piecing. KaDoodle Bug Designs has the cutest file, "Shoptastic Cuties - Pumpkin & Candy Corn Cuties". I knew the Candy Corn from this file would be perfect for what I wanted to create. I uploaded the file to my Cricut Design Space, resized the image and cut out all of the pieces using my Cricut Explore.  I then inked and chalked each piece before adhering them together to create my finished Candy Corn Cutie.

As I set my Candy Corn off to the side to ensure it dries, I moved on to my card base. My card base is a standard A2 sized card created with Kraft Cardstock.  For the mat of the card, I cut it down 1/4" smaller than the base and used Neenah Cardstock.  I had the perfect stamp in my stash from Lawn Fawn, entitled, "How You Bean? Candy Corn Add-On. With my Misti and a bit of masking, I stamped several layers of this yummy candy corn stamp down onto the bottom half of my cardstock.

With the masking adjusted and on the top layers of my stamp, I then used some of my Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks to blend out some of the candy corn colors towards the top of the card.

I colored the candy corn images using my Copics.  I also stamped the top of the card with the sentiments that came in the Lawn Fawn stamp set.

Once everything was dried, I added some foam mounting tape to the back of my adorable candy corn to allow him to "pop-up" a bit and adhered him onto the card.

I am super happy with how this sweet Halloween treat card turned out.
Below is a complete list of the supplies and materials I used to create this card:

Bazzill Cardstock

ReCollections Kraft Cardstock

Neenah Cardstock

Tim Holtz Distress Inks: Wild Honey, Festive Berries, Broken China

Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks: Fossilized Amber, Spiced Marmalade

Copic Markers: Y15, Y17, YR04, YR07, N0

Hero Arts Intense Black Ink Pad

Uni-ball Signo Broad White Gel Pen

I hope that you enjoyed today's treat!!
I wish you all a very Safe & Happy Halloween!!!

Fall Themed Deco Mesh Bow

Good morning crafty friends!! Today I am stopping in to share a Deco Mesh Bow that I created.  How super cute is this ?!?!

I have always struggled with trying to create bows with ribbon.  Usually, my bows turn out looking like a jumbled mess or just don't seem to stay together very well, lol. But my bow making worries are now over......YAY!!!!  I decided that I was going to use Deco Mesh (and a small amount of ribbon along with some other goodies) to make this Fall themed bow that you see here. I have a complete tutorial on how to create this bow on my YouTube Channel, which I will link below if you would like to stop by and check it out.  And what better way is there to complete and finish off this super cute bow than by adding an adorable Cutie KaToodle from KaDoodle Bug Designs as my center embellishment.

I just love this Scarecrow Bear and he screams Fall, so he was perfect for this project.  He is made using Bazzill Cardstock. All pieces were cut using my Cricut Explore. I also added my sentiment, "Happy Fall Ya'll", to the center piece of the pumpkin, by using the writing feature in Cricut Design Space.  Below are all the products I used to create my paper piecing:

Bazzill Cardstock

Tim Holtz Distress Inks: Peeled Paint, Aged Mahogany, Vintage Photo, Salty Ocean, Wild Honey, Tea Dye, Gathered Twigs, Rusty Hinge

Pebbles Pearlescent Chalks - Shimmer Shades

Art Glitter Glue

Uni-ball Signo Broad White Gel Pen

Pigma Micron Pen 01 - Black

The tutorial for creating the Deco Mesh Bow can be found on my YouTube Channel here:  https://youtu.be/xeBwMn6F0oY
I hope you will stop by and check it out. If you enjoy my video, please give me a thumbs up and also feel free to share it as well.

Fall Season Crows Scrapbook Layout

Good afternoon everybody! Today I am stopping in to share a 12 x 12 scrapbook layout I created using the new Cutie KaToodles Fall Season Crows file from KaDoodle Bug Designs. I just love the new Fall files that KBD has been releasing and I saw this one and knew that I had to create with it.

Are these crows not the cutest?!?!  I kept this layout very simple to begin. I figured I wanted to decide which pictures I wanted to add to it later and then I can add some more embellishments afterwards. Maybe some pumpkins or fall leaves added to the corners of the picture frames would look cute.

I also kept my paper piecing simple as well. I wanted just a touch of glitter, so I added a bit to the leaves of the pumpkins, just for that little bit of pop and texture, without going completely overboard.

Below is a complete list of the products and supplies I used to create this simple scrapbook layout:

Bazzill Cardstock

American Crafts: Boo! Paper Pad

ReCollections: Orange Small Dots Scrapbook Paper

Tim Holtz Distress Inks: Tea Dye, Aged Mahogany, Wild Honey, Peeled Paint, Rusty Hinge, Scattered Straw, Vintage Photo, Black Soot

Art Glitter Glue

Uni-Ball Signo Broad White Gel Pen

Pebbles Pearlescent Chalk Inks: Shimmer Shades

Nuvo Crystal Drops - Simply White

Stickles: Firefly

Craftin Desert Divas: Inside Scalloped Squares Dies

I hope that you enjoyed today's project! Make sure you stop back again soon for more project ideas and inspiration!
And as always, Have a Fabulously Crafty Day!!!

Its a "Witchy" kind of Wednesday.....

Good morning my crafty friends! I am stopping in this morning to share two adorable cards I created for Halloween using the Charmkin Cuties "Broom Witch" and "Potion Witch" files from KaDoodle Bug Designs.

Are these witches not the cutest!?!?!

This card was created using the Charmkin Cuties Broom Witch file.  I had fun creating this cute little witch and adding different elements to the card.  The paper piecing itself if mainly made from Bazzill Cardstock, with the exception of her hat and part of her dress. I used paper from the American Crafts BOO! Paper Pad.  As for the two spiders, I added black flocking powder from Inkadinkadoo to the center to give them a "fuzzy" feel and added some stickles to their legs.  My sentiment, "Happy Haunting", is from the Julie Nutting "Witchy Poo" cling stamp set and was heat embossed.

My second card was created using the Charmkin Cuties Potion Witch file.  Again, most of the paper piecing was created using Bazzill Cardstock, with the exception of the hat and dress, which was made using paper from the Love Nicole - Vintage Halloween 6x6 Paper Pad.  I also used glittered cardstock from the DCWV Glitter Cardstock Matstack to create the dots on her dress and her hat.  The sentiment, "Trick or Treat" is from the Teresa Collins "Masquerade Party" stamp set and has also been heat embossed.

Below is a complete list of all supplies and products used to create these two cards:

Happy Friday everybody! Today I am stopping by to share an adorable Fall themed card I created using the "Cutesy Fall Bear" file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.

My "Cutesy Fall Bear" paper piecing was made using Bazzill Cardstock and has been inked using Tim Holtz Distress Inks. Each piece was adhered together using Art Glitter Glue. For accents, I used a white gel pen, Nuvo Crystal Drops (on the center of the flowers), and a touch of Pearlescent Chalks to add rosy cheeks.

For my card base, I used ReCollections Cardstock and patterned paper from the Love Nicole Autumn Splendor Paper Pad.  I used one of the Flag Banner Dies from Craftin Desert Divas to cut out my flag banner for my sentiment. My sentiment, "Happy Fall One and All" is stamped using a stamp from the Craftin Desert Divas, Thankful Squeaks Stamp Set and is stamped in Red Royal Ink from Hero Arts.

You're the PUMPKIN spice to my LATTE!

Hello everyone!! I am stopping in this morning to share a quick card I created using the "Fall Pumpkin Treats" file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  I LOVE a great Latte, but I especially LOVE when the Fall Season begins and you can go just about anywhere and find everything Pumpkin flavored...Yum, Yum, Yum!!!  I saw this file and knew that I just had to create my own kind of Pumpkin Spice Latte.

I started off by uploading the file to Cricut Design Space, re-sized my image accordingly and then cut out all of the pieces using Bazzill Card Stock.  I then inked each piece using Tim Holtz Distress Inks and adhered them together using Art Glitter Glue. To finish off my paper piecing, I used a white gel pen to add some highlights.

My A2 sized card base was created using ReCollections 110lb. Ivory Cardstock. The patterned paper used is from ReCollections Harvest Delight Paper Pad. My sentiment, "You're the Pumpkin spice to my Latte!", was written with the "Be Mine" font from Cricut Design Space using both the Adobe Clay and Moccasin Cricut Pens.  To finish off my card, I added some sequins from Hero Arts and ReCollections.

Below is a complete list of the products and supplies used to create this card:

My Little Picasso...

Hello everyone! I am stopping in this afternoon to share a one page 12 x 12 layout I've created using the super adorable "Artsy Fox" file from KaDoodle Bug Designs. I have been trying to create some layouts to have ready for my son as he will be starting Pre-School in about another two weeks or so. I know he will be coming home with plenty of arts and crafts projects, and now I have the perfect layout to put some pics of my favorites.

I started off by uploading the Artsy Fox file to my Cricut Design Space and resized all of the images accordingly.  Once I was happy with the fox pieces, I then resized the "paper" of the easel to measure 3 x 5 and created my three photo mats.  I also resized the paint border and splotches and attached them to the photo mats leaving enough room to be able to slip some pictures under them, so it gives the effect of the paint being splattered slightly over the picture. I also added my title, "My Little Picasso" to the easel portion by using the writing feature of my Cricut Explore.

Below is a complete list of products and supplies used to create this layout:

Patterned Paper: DCWV Limited Edition - The Homeroom Stack

Bazzill Cardstock

Tim Holtz Distress Inks: Gathered Twigs, Tea Dye, Aged Mahogany, Blueprint Sketch, Scattered Straw, Hickory Smoke

Art Glitter Glue

Uni-ball Signo Broad White Gel Pen

Pebbles Pearlescent Chalks - Shimmer Shades

Title (My Little Picasso) was written using the "Baby Steps" font and "Geode" Cricut Pen

Thank you for taking the time to stop in. I hope you enjoyed today's project.

1st Day of School Scrapbook Layout

Hello everyone! Stopping in today to share a "1st Day of School" scrapbook layout I created using the super cute "Pre-K Buddies" file from KaDoodle Bug Designs. My son will be starting Pre-K in September and I thought this layout would be perfect to add to his scrapbook.

I started off by uploading the "Pre-K Buddies" file to Cricut Design Space and re-sizing the image. I also made the chalkboard, frame and notebook paper on Cricut Design Space as well. On the notebook paper, I used my Cricut to write some of the information and draw in blank lines so that I will be able to fill in all the information once I add his picture. All pieces were cut using Bazzill Cardstock, inked with Tim Holtz Distress Inks and adhered together using Art Glitter Glue.

Below is a list of products and supplies used to complete this layout:

Bazzill Card Stock

Patterned Paper: DCWV - The Homeroom Stack

Tim Holtz Distress Inks: Fired Brick, Aged Mahogany, Fossilized Amber, Faded Jeans, Mowed Lawn, Evergreen Bough, Pine Needles

Scrapper's Delight's August Planner Inspiration Event

Happy Friday crafty friends!! Today Scrapper's Delight's is holding their August Inspiration Event and I have created this weekly planner layout for the occasion.

For this planner layout, I used the A5 My Basic Planner 1 kit along with the Twilight Owl Digi Stamp from Scrapper's Delights.

I know that I may sound as if I am repeating myself over and over again, but I truly enjoy creating planner spreads using these digital planner kits. They are jam packed with so many elements and options to choose from to customize your planner to your specific needs.

I kept this layout pretty simple as you can see and did not add too much as I wanted plenty of space to be able to go back and fill in my schedule, appointments, etc. for the week.  I love this sweet digi image of the Twilight Owl. I colored these images using both Copic Markers and Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils. I also wanted to add a bit of a night time effect around my images, so I used my Faber-Castell Soft Pastels to lightly blend in a night time sky.

Below is a list of the products and supplies I have used to create this planner spread:

Copic Markers

Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils

Faber-Castell Soft Pastels

Uni-ball Signo Broad White Gel Pen

I hope that you enjoyed my project for today!!

Mermaid Mini Album Cover

Hello my crafty friends and Happy Friday!! I an stopping in this morning to share my mermaid mini album cover that I have created.  I have been busy making many mini albums lately, and this is my Summer Mermaid themed album. I've been wanting to create an album using mermaids and sea life for awhile now and after seeing the "Twirling Mermaid" file from KaDoodle Bug Designs, I thought it would be perfect to create and add to the front cover of my album...

To begin, I uploaded the "Twirling Mermaid" file to Cricut Design Space, re-sized the image and cut out all of the pieces on my Cricut Explore Air 2.  I then inked each piece using Tim Holtz Distres Inks and adhered them together using Art Glitter Glue. I used a white gel pen to add some highlights as well. Isn't she just the cutest?!?!

I adhered her down to the top right portion of the Reef Border and Frame Fancy Dies that I used from Hero Arts. This is a gorgeous die set and again, perfect for the theme I am trying to create. Of course, I needed to add sparkle (as I usually do in all my projects, LOL!!), so I added Stickles to the die cut to add color, sparkle and texture. I also added a Sticker to the center of the die cut, which is from the Echo Park Paper Co. "Let's Be Mermaids" Collection Kit. To finally finish it off, I added small drops of Glossy Accents to act as Bubbles to add more dimension and texture.

Below is a list of products and supplies used to create the cover of my Summer Mermaid Mini Album:

KaDoodle Bug Designs - Twirling Mermaid  file

Patterned Paper: Echo Park - Let's Be Mermaids Collection Kit

Bazzill Cardstock

Tim Holtz Distress Inks: Antique Linen, Abandoned Coral, Peacock Feathers

Art Glitter Glue

Uni-ball Signo Broad White Gel Pen

Scrapper's Delights July New Release Event

Hello everyone and Happy Friday!!! Today is the July Release over at Scrapper's Delights and they are showcasing the new Recipe Card Products. You will be able to create your very own recipe cards, using some fabulous digital stamps and kitchen scene builders now available over at the Scrapper's Delights shop.  For my project, I have started a recipe book in one of my ReCollections A5 planners. This is a fabulous idea to use and create something different and unique to give as a gift for a Wedding gift or shower, or any special occasion.

Instead of using the traditional recipe cards that are available, i decided to use the jar from the Kitchen Scene Builders set. I enlarged it and added my sweet Chef off to the side. I colored my images using Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils. I used patterned paper from Doodlebug Designs Inc. 6x6 gingham-linen rainbow petite prints paper pad to create the top and bottom portion of the covered lid on my jar.  I then typed up my recipe along with a title and adhered them on to the jar. And to finish off my page, I lined the top and bottom with some washi tape for a little added decoration.  Overall, I think it turned out pretty cute. I will have to go back and play with some of the individual recipe cards at a later date.

I hope that you enjoyed today's project share.
