Scrapper's Delights "Stop & Smell the Flowers" Monthly Planner Layout - New Release Event

Good morning everyone & Happy Friday!!! Today I am sharing a monthly planner spread I created using a new planner kit from Scrapper's Delights. These kits are filled with so many different goodies to add to your planners and work wonderfully with the Scrapper's Delights Basic Planner Kits.

For this monthly layout, I used the Scrapper's Delights A5 Basic Planner Kit along with the Giraffe Kit. From the Giraffe Kit, I added all of the flowers you see along with the labels for the days of the week and the digital sentiment, "Stop & Smell The Flowers".

I also included the "Easter Basket" digital stamp, which I shrunk down and placed on the 16th for Easter of course.

And because my theme is here is Spring and Easter, I had to incorporate this adorable "Easter Bunny" digital stamp in as well.

I added some washi tape along the borders of my pages and colored all of my digital images using my Prismacolor pencils.

Below is a complete list of the products and supplies I used to create this layout:

Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils

ReCollections Washi Tape

I hope that you enjoyed viewing my monthly planner layout. I have many more projects coming out and hope you will return again to visit real soon.

"Summer Fun" Flamingos Scrapbook Layout

Hello and Happy Wednesday!!!! We have made it halfway through the week...YAY!!! KaDoodle Bug Designs has been coming out with so many awesome files lately. I have a hard time trying to pick which files I want to create with, but when I saw these Tropical Flamingos I knew I had to have them. And what better way to start creating some fun Summer projects than with flamingos!!! So with that being said, I am sharing a 12 x 12 scrapbook layout I created entitled, "Summer Fun".

To start, I uploaded my svg file to my Cricut Design Space and cut all of my file pieces using my Cricut Explore Air 2.  I then inked all pieces using Tim Holtz Distress Inks and adhered them together using Art Glitter Glue. I then used a white Gel Pen to add some accents and highlights.

To create my title, I used some foam glitter stickers that I had in my stash to spell out "Summer Fun". To spruce up the banner, I added Nuvo Crystal Drops along the top edge of the banner and I outlined the two small hearts at each end with stickles.

To jazz up the pineapple and watermelon, I added some sequins (which again is from my stash). I also added glossy accents to the watermelon seeds and finally a small bow to the pineapple to add even more interest.

For the two flowers, I added some Stickles in the center just to bring out some more glittered accents throughout the layout. My photo mats were die cut using the Fancy Frames die set from Craftin Desert Divas. I layered most of my paper piecings covering a small area of each mat, but did not glue that area down (which will allow me to slip pics underneath for a better fit). And to finally complete and finish off my layout, I added some more Nuvo Crystal Drops at the edges of my mats.

Below is a complete list of all the products and supplies that I used to create this layout:

Bazzill Cardstock

ReCollections Cardstock

Patterned Paper: (Base) - Pink Paislee - Care Package #01254

Patterned Paper: (Photo Mat) - ReCollections - Aqua Screen

Art Glitter Glue

White Gel Pen

Foam Glitter Stickers

Glossy Accents

I hope that you enjoyed my project and will return again soon for more inspiration and project ideas.

Stop & Smell the Flowers......Weekly Planner Layout

Hello everyone & Happy Monday!! Lately, I have been playing and creating in my planners and I just can't seem to get away from the Spring theme, LOL. I have so many adorable Spring themed digital stamps and stamp sets from Craftin Desert Divas that I thought I must play with and incorporate into my planners. So, today I am sharing this  "Stop & Smell the Flowers" weekly planner layout.

I started off by printing out all of my digital stamp images and colored them using my Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils.

I fussy cut all of the flower images, ran them through my Xyron sticker machine and adhered them onto my layout. To date the flowers, I used some Planner Accessories Stickers from ReCollections that I had in my stash. They were small enough and fit perfectly in the center of each flower.

I did not want to fussy cut the bear digi stamps, so I decided that I was going to use the stitched/scalloped square die which is part of the Treat Bag Die Set which was just released this month from Carftin Desert Divas. As an extra touch, I also used the butterfly die from the Window Pane Die Set to cut out two butterflies and adhered them onto the corner of each bear digital stamp. I then added a small amount of Nuvo Crystal Drops to the center of each butterfly to give them some interest. I used the Plan It Out Stamp Set to fill in a few important reminders and things that I know I need to do for this week.

Below is a complete list of all the supplies and products I have used to created this planner layout:

Floral Wreaths Planner Pages

Hello everyone and Happy Friday!!! Today I am sharing some planner pages and goodies I have created using some fabulous new products which have just been released from Craftin Desert Divas

This weekly planner spread is showcasing the new "Floral Wreaths" stamp set. This stamp set is perfect for decorating your planners, cards or just about any other crafty project you could think of. I used the coordinating SVG outlines for the heart wreath and the three smaller flower bundles you see above. The smaller roses lining the top of my pages along with the three smaller closed roses in the three date boxes were all stamped directly onto my planner pages. I colored all of the stamped images with Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils and added some stickles to some of the leaves and flowers to add some interest (besides, who doesn't like to add some type of sparkle to their projects?? LOL). I also used ReCollections washi tape, which matches the flower theme pretty well. I cut down some pale pink ReCollections cardstock to fill some of my date boxes and add more color to my pages. The initial for the days of the week were cut out of cardstock from the American Crafts Summer Paper Pad using my Cricut.

And what is a planner without coordinating planner goodies??? These were so much fun to create.

To start off, I wanted to create a shaker insert using the large heart shaped floral wreath. I cut out two of the svg outlines using my Cricut and stamped the image onto the outline using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I punched two holes through both wreaths so that I could easily incorporate and flip it in my planner. I colored the image using my Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils and again added some stickles to the leaves for that added sparkle. I cut out two small pieces of acetate and adhered them to each of my svg outlines.. I added the new "Arizona Skies" sequins to the center and lined up my two svg outlines and adhered them together using double sided foam tape.

For my next planner goody, I decided to use the "Treat Box Die" to create a small bag insert that I could use to hold receipts or notes that I may need. I die cut two pieces of vellum using the treat bag die cut. Once cut, I manipulated the design by then cutting down the side pieces to make them smaller. I left one side slightly larger so that I would have a margin to be able to punch holes into so that I could insert it into my planner easily. I adhered the edges together using a vellum tape adhesive. I stamped the floral wreath image onto the vellum using Versamark Ink and heat embossed it using ReCollections White Embossing Powder and my heat tool. I used my Tim Holtz Distress Inks to add color to my flowers and leaves and again, added stickles to the leaves for that added sparkle.

Last but certainly not least, I created two planner clips. Both of these clips were created using the star dies from the Treat Bag Die set. I used both the large and small stars to create each clip. For the star shaker clip, I used my Big Shot and cut out two large stars. I then created the star border by placing the smaller star inside the larger star and held it in place using some painters paint. I cut out several of those so that I could build it up and create somewhat of a wall so that my sequins had plenty of space to move around. I adhered all of the pieces together using art glitter glue. I added a small piece of acetate to the underside of one star cut out, added the new "Sweet Pea" sequins to the center and then added my acetate star on top to close it off.

To create the flower clip, I cut out several large and small stars using vellum. I then used my bone folder to carefully and gently roll the tips of each star. I adhered each star on top of the other so that the tips of each star were alternating in a flower petal type fashion. I added a small amount of glue to various areas of the "petals" and the center and used ReCollections fine glitter to add that extra sparkle I wanted.

I am really happy with how everything turned out and I can't wait to make some more clips using these amazing dies.  Below is a complete list of all the supplies and products that I used for these planner pages and goodies:

"Have A Crafty Day".....Scrapper's Delights Front Cover Planner Inspiration

Hello fellow crafty friends!! It is Friday....YAY!!!! It has been a crazy and busy week here for me, so I am looking forward to the weekend. I have been extremely busy crafting and playing around with my planners, and so today I am here to share one of my DT projects that I just completed for Scrapper's Delights.

I have to say that I am really enjoying working with the Scrapper's Delights A5 Basic Planner Kit 1. This kit is jam packed with so many different planner project ideas, that I sometimes don't even know where to begin, LOL. There are so many different options to customize it and make it work for your specific needs and I think that is what I like the most about it.  In creating my new planner, I decided I would start off at the beginning and create a Front Cover for my new planner.

I used the "Belongs To Page" which can be found in the A5 My Basic Planner Kit 1. Now, anybody who truly knows me, knows that I LOVE all things crafty and that I enjoy and love to color. So what better way is there to personalize and decorate my planner than using the perfect and super adorable
"Crafty Honeys" digital stamps.  These images are from the "Crafty Honeys Bundle 1 & Grouped Image Bundle". I chose the "Markers" honey just because I love to color. This bundle also comes with a "glue gun" honey and a "painter" honey, as well as a group image of all three.  I know I will definitely be using the other images in my future planner pages.

I colored my digital stamps using Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils, which are currently my favorite coloring medium.  I stamped my name with Royal Purple StazOn ink using an Elegant Brush Script stamp set from Craftin Desert Divas.  I love adding sparkle to lots of my projects, so I used some rhinestones that I had in my stash to add a little interest. I also added a small amount of stickles to the hearts in the top digital stamp. To finish off my page, I added some washi tape from ReCollections (again, found in my stash) to the two sides of my page.

I am very happy with my completed planner page and can't wait to move on and create the next one!!!

"Let your joy burst forth like flowers in the spring" - Planner Shaker Dashboard

Hello everybody and Happy Monday!!! I hope that everyone enjoyed their Holiday weekend and had a fabulous Easter. The weather here in New York was absolutely perfect (80 degrees perfect in fact!!!) Yay!!! I think Spring has finally decided to come, LOL. With that being said, I wanted to stop in today and share a Planner dashboard that I created for the Craftin Desert Divas April Social Media Moodboard Challenge.

I love this sweet digital stamp from Craftin Desert Divas and thought it would work perfectly with my "Spring" theme. This digital stamp is "Sending Sunshine". I printed it out and colored it up using my Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils. I wanted a nice Spring quote to add to it, so I had found "Let your joy burst forth like flowers in the Spring" on Pinterest and thought it would be perfect for this. I added my colored digital stamp to my 4.5" x 7.5" clear page protector and added some beautiful Spring inspired sequins. To finish it off, I used my We R Memory Keepers Fuse Tool to fuse the two ends of my page protector closed. I like how it turned out and it just adds that perfect and lovely Spring touch to my planner.

Below is a list of the materials that I used to complete this project:

Neenah 80lb Solar White Cardstock
Clear Page Protector
Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils
We R Memory Keepers Fuse Tool

Happy Easter!!!

Hello everyone!!!  I am just stopping in this morning with a quick post to say Happy Easter and to share some Easter Eggs that I decorated using Easter Eggs and Peep Bunnies Vinyl Cut Files from KaDoodle Bug Designs.

I had purchased these large plastic eggs for treats for Easter and well.....they looked too plain to me (even with all the yummy and fun treats inside). So, I decided to spruce them up a bit. The Easter Eggs and Peep Bunnies Vinyl Cut Files were perfect for this project and took no time at all to complete.

I uploaded the files to Cricut Design Space and re-sized them to the dimensions that I wanted. I then chose my vinyl and put my Cricut to work cutting out a few multiple designs of each.  I placed the vinyl cut outs circling the center of each egg and filled them back up with treats to make them complete.

The KaDoodle Bug Designs files I used can be found below:

I hope that you enjoyed my Easter project for today. Thank you for stopping by and I wish you all a Happy & Blessed Easter!!
