Hello crafty friends and Happy New Year!!! I hope that you all enjoyed the Holidays and were able to spend lots of time with friends and loved ones. I still can't believe how fast the year flew by. I'm excited for the New Year and all it will have to offer.
I have been very busy crafting since Christmas as I have received lots of exciting and new crafting goodies that I had asked for ("Santa" was VERY good to me)! So make sure that you stay tuned as I promise that I will be sharing a lot more of my creations with you all.
With that being said, today I am sharing a card that I created using an adorable SVG file from KaDoodle Bug Designs entitled Full of Love.
This is a very simple and fun card to create and I have listed all of the supplies and materials that I have used below:
- Card Base: A2 (4.25" x 5.5") using 80lb. Neenah white card stock
- Card Base Mat: Cut 1/8" smaller than base using Stampin' Up! Stacked with Love Designer Series Paper Stack.
- Paper Piecing: KaDoodle Bug Designs "Full of Love"was made using Bazzill card stock (snowman and red and pink hearts). Patterned paper used for the snowman's scarf and some of the hearts is from the Stampin' Up! Stacked with Love Designer Series Paper Stack as well. The hearts and scarf were all inked using Tim Holtz Distress Inks: Barn Door, Fired Brick and Worn Lipstick. I used Art Glitter Glue to adhere my paper piecing together and a White Gelly Roll Pen to add some highlights to finish it off.
- Stamped Sentiment: "Love You" is from the Craftin Desert Diva's "Short and Sweet Tags" stamp set and was stamped onto one of the hearts using an acrylic block and Memento - Tuxedo Black Ink.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope that you enjoyed today's creation and will visit again very soon for more crafty goodness and inspiration!!
