Scrapper's Delights July New Release Event

Hello everyone and Happy Friday!!! Today is the July Release over at Scrapper's Delights and they are showcasing the new Recipe Card Products. You will be able to create your very own recipe cards, using some fabulous digital stamps and kitchen scene builders now available over at the Scrapper's Delights shop.  For my project, I have started a recipe book in one of my ReCollections A5 planners. This is a fabulous idea to use and create something different and unique to give as a gift for a Wedding gift or shower, or any special occasion.

Instead of using the traditional recipe cards that are available, i decided to use the jar from the Kitchen Scene Builders set. I enlarged it and added my sweet Chef off to the side. I colored my images using Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils. I used patterned paper from Doodlebug Designs Inc. 6x6 gingham-linen rainbow petite prints paper pad to create the top and bottom portion of the covered lid on my jar.  I then typed up my recipe along with a title and adhered them on to the jar. And to finish off my page, I lined the top and bottom with some washi tape for a little added decoration.  Overall, I think it turned out pretty cute. I will have to go back and play with some of the individual recipe cards at a later date.

I hope that you enjoyed today's project share.

There's Snow one Like You!

Hello there my crafty friends! Today is July 25th, which means we are five months or 153 days away from Christmas (but who's counting,LOL). Christmas is my absolute favorite Holiday and with it being so close to the end of July, I thought I would jump on the "Christmas in July" bandwagon and create a quick Christmas card for you all.

This card features the Cutie KaToodles Christmas Candy file from KaDoodle Bug Designs, which by the way is still listed as a Freebie over at the shop, so feel free to head on over there and snatch this cutie up before he is gone!!!

To start this card, I uploaded the Cutie KaToodle Christmas Candy file into my Cricut Design Space, re-sized my image accordingly and cut out all of the pieces using my Cricut Explore Air 2.  I then inked each piece and adhered them all together using Art Glitter Glue. I added some accents to my finised paper piecing using a white gel pen and of course, I had to add some sparkle (cause who doesn't like sparkle?!?!, LOL). I used Stickles to add sparkle to the cuffs and hat of this little cutie.

I created the base of my card using 110lb. ReCollections White Cardstock and cut two card mats each 1/8" smaller than each other to get my layered look.  I stamped my sentiment, "There's Snow one Like you!" (from the Maymay Made It - Snow Peeking Stamp Set) onto the top right corner of my mat using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. To finish my card off, I added three small red heart rhinestones that I had in my stash.

And there you have it....a super cute card ready to send out as the Holiday Season draws closer.

Below is a list of the products and supplies I used to create this card:

KaDoodle Bug Designs: Cutie KaToodles Christmas Candy file

Bazzill Cardstock

ReCollections 110lb. White Cardstock

ReCollections 65lb. Red Cardstock

Scrapper's Delights July Inspiration Event

Hello everyone and Happy Friday!!!  Today is the Scrapper's Delights July Inspiration Event and I am sharing a weekly planner layout that I have created.

I have used the Scrapper's Delights A5 My Basic Planner Kit to create my planner layout. These planner kits are packed full of goodies to use and help you in customizing your planner to fit your needs. The Basic Planner kit includes front and back cover pages, section dividers, monthly dividers, weekly and monthly planner layouts, to-do lists, patterned sheets, numbers and dates and so much more.

I wanted to create a sweet summer spread for this week's layout, so I also included the Fruity Babies Watermelon digi stamp. Isn't she the cutest!?!?! I colored her up using my Prismacolor pencils. To help decorate my planner pages even more, I also added some washi tape strips to the top and bottom of each page.  I cut out some cardstock pieces and added them to my weekly layout as well to add some fun color to my spread.

Below is a list of the supplies and products I used to create this fun summer spread:
