May your day be as wonderful as your first sip!

Happy Friday my crafty friends!! I'm so very happy that it is finally the weekend! Yay!!! Today I wanted to share with you a super cute shaker card that I made using a bunch of goodies from Craftin Desert Divas.  I am a Coffee fanatic!! I LOVE anything and everything Coffee. So when I saw this adorable new digi stamp, I knew I wanted to make something with it.

This is the "Java Fox" digital stamp which you can find here: http://craftindesertdivas.com/java-fox-digital-stamp/
I colored this cutie using my Prisma Color Pencils. I added some accents using a white Gelly Roll Pen and added some Stickles to his hat and scarf to dress him up a bit.

My sentiment is a stamp from the "Coffee Break" stamp set which you can find here: http://craftindesertdivas.com/coffee-break/
And check out that adorable mini coffee cup! That is from the "Inside Scalloped Squares" die set, which is one of the new release die sets that Craftin Desert Diva's just came out with. You can find that set here: http://craftindesertdivas.com/inside-scalloped-square-dies/
I also used this set to create my scalloped border for my shaker portion of this card. I love all the detail and stitching these dies have.

Here is a complete list of all the products I used to create my shaker:

Paper: ReCollections Card Stock & Patterned Paper (from my stash)
Prisma Colored Pencils
Stickles
White Gelly Roll Pen

I hope that you enjoyed my creation for today. Thank you for stopping by and have a fantastic and crafty weekend!

Tiny Teddy Autumn Card Set

Hello there my crafty friends! Hope everybody is doing well.  I have been in a coloring type of mood these days and so I figured why not get started on my Fall and Autumn cards (seeing as the season will be sneaking up on me soon!)

For this card set, I used the digital stamp image set "Tiny Teddy Autumn" from KaDoodle Bug Designs (Artwork by Whimsical Inklings). You can find the set here: http://kadoodlebugdesigns.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=63&products_id=1428

Each card is an A2 sized card (4.25" x 5.5"). The base and mat papers on each card are ReCollections Cardstock.  Each image was colored using Spectrum Noir markers (FS2, FS3, DR1, TB2, DR3, CT2, GB5, GB8, TN7, EB5, DG2, EB2, DG3, TB3, TB1, BG2, BG1, CT1, OR1, CT3, EB1, PP1). Each sentiment was written on ReCollections Cardstock using the Fontastic Fonts and Moccasin Brown Cricut Pen on my Cricut Explore.  I cut each of the sentiments out using an oval banner die from Craftin Desert Diva's.  I also used some twine from ReCollections to add to each card around my sentiment band and adhered the sentiment onto each card using ReCollections Foam Adhesive Squares.

Overall, I am pleased with how they turned out. I hope you like them too!! Thank you for visiting today and I will see you again soon with more crafty goodness!!!

You're So Berry Sweet...

Good afternoon my crafty peeps...... I am in a coloring type mood today, so I am sharing this card that I just colored and created.

To create this card, I first uploaded a Digital Stamp file entitled "DS Chocolate Strawberry Bear" from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  This adorable DS (as well as the cutting file) are this week's Freebie over at KBD.  If you'd like to stop by there and pick it up for yourself, you can find it here: http://kadoodlebugdesigns.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=49&products_id=1329

I colored this cutie using Spectrum Noir markers (DG2, DG3, DR1, DR3, EB1, EB2, EB5, FS6, GB8, GB10, PP3, TB1). I love coloring, but I will be honest.....I have not used my markers to color in quite some time..... BUT, I do like how this image turned out!!! I think I may have to start coloring again more often (It can be quite addicting!!!)

After my image was colored in, I used a white gelly roll pen as well as a black Micron pen (05) to add some highlights and definition to my image.

This card measures 4.5" x 6.25" and is made using ReCollections cardstock.  I added a strip of Green Glitter Mesh (from Celebrate It) to adorn the card. My sentiment, "You're So Berry Sweet", was written in the "PS" font and the "Elizabeth" font using both a Black pen and the Very Berry Pen with my Cricut Explore.  I attached my pieces on the card and added a small ribbon (from Celebrate it) and three Green Jellies (from Queen & Co.) to complete it.

Thank you for stopping in today! I hope you enjoyed today's creation and I will see you all again soon!

Darling It's Better Down Where It's Wetter......

Hello crafty friends! Today I would like to share my inspiration for the Leinzlove Tear Bear Challenge Blog (http://leinzlovetearbearchallenge.blogspot.com)

The theme this month is water, so I created this double page "Under the Sea" layout to share with you all today.  My adorable little mermaids along with the guppies and some of the corals are from a cut file from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs entitled, Mermaid Buddies Collection. The other sea life and corals shown are from Cricut Design Space. I used a mixture of both Bazzill and ReCollections card stock to create my layout. I uploaded all my cut files to my Cricut Design Space, sized them accordingly and cut them out using my Cricut Explore.  Once all pieces were cut, I then used my Color Box Chalk Inks to shade them and added highlights using a white Gelly Roll Pen. I also added some additional rhinestone gems and stickles to some of the pieces for added texture and definition.

I hope that you enjoyed today's project. Feel free to come back soon and visit again for some more inspiration and crafty ideas.

You're turtley Awesome....

Hi crafty friends! Hope everybody is having an awesome day. Today I am sharing a quick card I whipped up using an adorable cut file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  This file is the "Cutesy Sea Turtle" and can be found here: http://kadoodlebugdesigns.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2&products_id=1181

This card measures 4.5" x 6.25" and is made using both Bazzill and ReCollections card stock. The patterned paper used is from the "Surf's Up" paper pad, also from ReCollections. To start, I uploaded my file to Cricut Design Space and cut each piece using my Cricut Explore.  I then chalked each piece using my Color Box Chalk Inks (Pink Sky, Candied Yams, Aquamarine, Deep Green and Olive Pastel). I adhered all my pieces together using Art Glitter Glue and added some highlights and details using a white Gelly Roll pen and a Black Micron Pigma Pen (005).  My sentiment, "You're turtley Awesome" is from the Totally Turtle stamp set from Craftin Desert Divas and can be found here: http://craftindesertdivas.com/totally-turtle/ and is stamped using StazOn Jet Black Ink. To finish off my card, I added My Mind's Eye - Now and Then - Mildred "With You" enamel dots.

Like the flower & bee......

Good afternoon my crafty friends.  Today I am sharing a card that I created using another completely adorable file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  This file can be found here: http://kadoodlebugdesigns.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2&products_id=1164

This card measures 5 x 7 and was created using Bazzill and ReCollections card stock.  The patterned paper I used for my card base if from Hall Pass and is entitled "Rose".  To get started, I uploaded my file to Cricut Design Space and re-sized my image. I then cut out each piece using my Cricut Explore.  Once all pieces were cut, I used my Color Box Chalk Inks (Dark Brown, Dark Peony, Aquamarine and Citrus Yellow) to shade each piece.  I adhered my pieces together using Art Glitter Glue. I used a black Pigma Micron Pen (005) and a white Gelly Roll Pen to add highlights and details to my piece.

I used my Cricut Explore to write my sentiment, "Like the flower and the bee, great friends are we" using the Elizabeth font. I added three enamel dots to my sentiment for that special added touch.  I also added Stickles to the center of each flower on my card base to give it just a small touch of sparkle (although you probably can't really see it in the picture.... sorry).

Thank you so much for visiting today! I hope you enjoy today's creation and hope to see you again soon!

All things grow with Love...

Hello there... Today I would like to share my inspiration for the Leinzlove Tear Bear Challemge Blog (http://leinzlovetearbearchallemge.blogspot.com)

Our theme this month is pastel flowers, so I created this really simple drapery fold card to share with you all today.  This card measures 4.25" x 5.50". My card base is made using ReCollections card stock. For the drapery portion of the card, I used double-sided patterned card stock from Pebbles.

To create the drapery fold on my card, I cut my patterned card stock down to 4" x 11.50". I then scored this piece at 3", 4", 6", 7", 9" and 10".  I then carefully lined up my paper on my cutting board and cut diagonally from the 3" score mark up to the other end, leaving about 1". I folded all of my scored lines and created my "drapery". I adhered this drapery portion onto my card base using Art Glitter Glue.

I then cut .50" x 5.50" of the patterned card stock and used it as a border up on the top of the card. I adhered three flower embellishments from ReCollections on the left hand side of the card. I also added three green jelly dots from Queen & Co. on the border piece on the top right.

In the lower right corner, I added my sentiment, "all things grow with Love", which is part of a stamp set from Ki for Hampton Art and is stamped in Studio G dye ink.

I hope that you enjoyed my creation for today and I hope to see you come back soon and visit again! Happy crafting my friends!

Coffee Lovers.......

Hello my crafty friends and Happy Monday!!!! Today it's all about the Coffee. Actually, everyday is all about Coffee for me because I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my Coffee, LOL! And that is why I just had to stop everything and play with the new Shoptastic Cuties Coffee files from KaDoodle Bug Designs.

My first card is created using the Shopstastic Cuties - Togo Coffee Cutie which you can find here: http://kadoodlebugdesigns.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=60&products_id=1138

The second card is created using the Shoptastic Cuties - Coffee Pot Cutie which you can find here: http://kadoodlebugdesigns.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=60&products_id=1139

And the third card was created using the Shoptastic Cuties - Coffee Cup Cutie which can be found here: http://kadoodlebugdesigns.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=60&products_id=1140

All three cards measure 4.5" x 6.75" and are made using Bazzill & ReCollections card stock.  I uploaded the svg file to my Cricut Explore and cut out each piece. Once all pieces were cut, I chalked each one using Color Box Chalk Inks (Creamy Brown, Gray Whale, Blackbird, Aquamarine, Rose Coral, Maroon & Dark Brown) as well as Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Tea Dye) and Pebbles Pearlescent Chalks (Shimmer Shades).  Once all pieces were chalked, I adhered them together using Art Glitter Glue and added some highlights to each using a white Gelly Roll pen.

To create my card base, I cut out a mat (4.5" x 6") using ReCollections card stock. I used a stamp from Craftin' Desert Divas "Got Coffee" stamp set to create my coffee blotches. I stamped these using Stampin' Up - Baked Brown Sugar stamp pad.

For my sentiments, I used my Cricut Explore to write them using the Cricut Alphabet font with the "Candy Crystal" Cricut pen.  I then used the Craftin' Desert Divas Banner Dies to cut out each sentiment. I adhered them onto a larger oval shape created using Bazzill card stock. I adhered a 3/8" ribbon that I had in my stash to each card and attached the sentiment to it.  For my final touch, I added a few Rhinestone Gems to the ribbon.

And there you have it - These cards were so much fun to make and super easy as well.  I hope you enjoyed my creation for today and hope to see you all again soon. Thanks for stopping by!!

Hope your Day Blossoms.....

Happy Monday my crafty friends!!! Today I am stopping in to share a card that I created using an adorable file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  I've had this file for a while and finally got time to play around with it. I absolutely LOVE Sunflowers, so this file is just perfect for me.

This card measures 4.5" x 6.25". The KaDoodle Bug Designs file which I used is the Cutie KaToodles Sunflower Bear which can be found here: http://kadoodlebugdesigns.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=55&products_id=1058.  I uploaded this file to Design Space and re-sized him a bit. I cut out all my pieces using Bazzill card stock and then chalked each piece using Color Box Chalk Inks (Dark Brown, Creamy Brown, Dark Green and Citrus Yellow). I also used Pebbles Pearlescent Chalks (Shimmer Shades) as well. Once all my pieces were chalked, I then adhered them together using Art Glitter Glue. Once my piece was dry, I added highlights using a White Gelly Roll Pen and a Pigma Micron Pen (005).

The patterned card stock that I used for my card base and my sentiment tag are from DCWV - The Preppy Princess Stack.  My sentiment was written on my Cricut as well using the "Moccasin" colored cricut pen in the Haley font. I added four (4) small gold brads to each corner of my sentiment tag and adhered it to my card. I then adhered my piecing to the card as well as a mix of gold and green sequins along the right side of the card.

I hope you enjoyed my creation for today. Thanks for stopping by and I will see you again real soon!!

Make a Wish.....

Happy 5th Birthday to KaDoodle Bug Designs!!!!! In honor of their Birthday, I created this adorable gift bag using their Cutie KaToodles Happy Birthday Cat file which you can find here: http://kadoodlebugdesigns.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=60&products_id=1075

For my gift bag, I used two (2) pieces of 12" x 12" patterned card stock by Lilybee Design (Hello Sunshine - Twirl). On each piece, I scored all four sides at 3". I then folded on my score lines and trimmed off the excess and adhered my bag together using score tape. I punched holes on the top of each side and added a piece of red satin ribbon from ReCollections.

For my paper piecing, I used both Bazzill and ReCollections card stock along with Velvet Paper (Blaze) which I used on the cats hat and bow tie.

I used Color Box Chalk Inks in: Maroon, Blue Lagoon, Seattle Sky and Yellow Citrus to shade each piece. I adhered all of the pieces together using Aleene's Tacky Glue and added highlights using a White Gelly Roll Pen.

For my sentiment, "Make A Wish", I used my Cricut Explore to write it using the "Thoughts and Phrases - Brush Script" font onto a scalloped circle and then added some blue stickles along the edge.

I made a 1.25" rosette using ReCollections paper and added a few pieces from the banner file. I added white stitching to each piece using a White Gelly Roll pen. I again, layered and adhered all my pieces together using Aleene's Tacky Glue.

I love how this project turned out and I am very Happy to be celebrating KaDoodle Bug Designs 5th Birthday with them!!!

St. Patty's Day Greetings....

Hi everybody. Today I would like to share my inspiration for the Leinzlove Tear Bear Challenge Blog (http://leinzlovetearbearchallenge.blogspot.com)

To create this card, I used a svg file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  I used ReCollections card stock for my card base as well as my paper pieced lucky owl.

My paper pieced owl is from the "Cute Lucky Owls" file at KaDoodle Bug Designs, which you can find here: http://kadoodlebugdesigns.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=6&products_id=689. I uploaded this file to Design Space and cut out each piece using my Cricut Explore. Once all the pieces were cut, I used my Color Box Chalk Inks to shade each piece. To adhere them together, I used Aleene's Tacky Glue. Once completely dried, I used a white Gelly Roll pen to add some highlights to the finished piece.

In designing the base of the card, I used some green and gold washi tape from Little B that I had in my stash and added it to the top left corner.  I ran a strip of gold glitter tape from ReCollections along the bottom of the card as well.  I added some green jute twine and a shamrock button (also from ReCollections) for added textures and that extra pop of green.

My stamped sentiment, "Happy St. Patty's Day" is from a Studio G stamp set and is stamped on using StazOn Jet Black Ink.

I hope that you enjoyed my creation for today and I hope to see you come back soon and visit again! Happy crafting my friends!

St. Patrick's Day Wreath....

Happy Friday my crafty friends!! I've been a bit under the weather lately, but thankfully I am feeling much better now.  Today I created this St. Patrick's Day Themed wreath. Cute right?!?!

This was super easy to put together and fun as well. For the wreath portion of this project, I used a 12" Flora Craft Foam ring which you can find in pretty much any craft store.  I had tons of white tulle in my stash, so I picked up a roll of ReCollections green glittered tulle - cause what is St. Patty's Day without Green???  I cut down my tulle and tied each piece around the foam ring.  I added a few felt shamrocks along the rim as well.

As for the lucky little bear featured in the middle of my wreath, he is the current Freebie file over at KaDoodle Bug Designs. You can find him here: http://kadoodlebugdesigns.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=60&products_id=1067

Here is a list of all supplies I used to create this project:

12" Flora Craft Foam Ring
ReCollections Tulle (White & Glittered Green)
Celebrate It - Felt Shamrocks
Bazzill Card stock
ReCollections Card stock
Color Box Chalk Inks (Creamy Brown, Chestnut Roan, Dark Brown, French Blue, Fresh Green)
Pebbles Pearlescent Chalks - Shimmer
Pebbles Classis Chalks - Earth Tone Shades
Darice - Multi Sized Dots Embossing Folder
Pigma Micron Pen (005)
White Gelly Roll Pen

I hope you all enjoyed today's creation. Have a great crafty weekend and I will see you again soon!

Valentine Themed Mini Flip Memory Book

Happy Friday! If you came over from the KaDoodle Bug Valentine Hop, thank you for visiting! For my project today, I created a Valentine Themed Mini Flip Memory Book. Flip books seem to be a big trend right now and I could not wait to create this Valentine's Day Flip Book to share with you all. This flip book measures approximately 6" x 6". The paper I used for the base of this flip book is from the Pebbles "Yours Truly" Designer Paper Pad. To adhere my pages together so that they could "flip" easily, I used Doodlebug Design Inc. Bubblegum Swiss Dot Washi Tape.

The cover of this book features the Cutie KaToodles Honey Pot Peeker Bear which you can find here: http://kadoodlebugdesigns.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=21&products_id=1026
This adorable little honey bear is made using Bazzill card stock. He has been inked with Color Box Chalk Inks and highlights and finishing touches were added using a white Gelly Roll pen and a Pigma Micron Pen (005). Also added to the front of my book, I used some more Doodlebug Designs Washi Tape (Because after all, who doesn't love washi tape?) The washi tape I used is: Bubblegum Swiss Dots, Hugs & Kisses and Sweethearts. My "Happy Valentine's Day" sentiment was stamped onto the heart using StazOn Ink and is from a ReCollections Valentine's Day stamp set.

Now to get into the fun of the book... Flip open the cover and here you have more cuteness!! Yay!! On the left side, I have a paper piecing from the Cutie KaToodles Valentine Bumble Bears file which you can find here: http://kadoodlebugdesigns.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=21&products_id=1025
I added some more Doodle Bug Designs Washi in the upper corner and I have a single mat adhered on the right. This can be used for adding photos or journaling.

On the right side, I created a waterfall type effect with my mats. They are adhered with Doodlebug Designs Washi Tape (Ladybug Swiss Dot). And at the top of each of these mats, I used petite words from the Authentique "Crush Collection" as sentiments. Three more paper pieced hearts complete this page. Again, all of these mats can be used for those amazing photos and/or journaling that you want to cherish forever.

Flip the left page open and now there is even more real estate for you. The paper piecings on the middle and left side are again from KaDoodle Bug Designs - Cutie KaToodles Valentine Bumble Bears file. The center page has another photo/journaling mat as does the right top page.

Now, flip that center page up and you have.....

even more cuteness!! WooHoo!!! So, starting at the top center page, the adorable paper piecing is the Cutie KaToodles Honey Wheelbarrow Bear from KaDoodle Bug Designs which is available here:
This adorable bear is adhered to a pocket that I created for this page. To embellish the pocket, I added Adhesive Paper Ribbon from K&Company and then added my cute bear in the middle. Tucked into the pocket and adhered to the base of this page is a pink doily from ReCollections.  I made two tags (which of course are removable) to add to this packet as well.  Again, they may be decorated or used however you'd like. I embellished each tag with some more Adhesive Paper Ribbon and some pink and white twine from ReCollections.

The bottom center page has two more photo/journaling mats with some more valentine's day sentiments from the petite words collection I mentioned earlier. I added another paper pieced heart embellishment at the top right corner of this page.  In the bottom left corner I made a small envelope to store some more of your small treasure in.

And there you have it, the completed mini flip book. I had a blast creating this and I can't wait to make some more. Thank you for visiting today and I will you see you all again real soon with another fun creation!!

You Fill My Heart.....

Hi everybody. Today I would like to share my inspiration for the Leinzlove Tear Bear Challenge Blog (http://leinzlovetearbearchallenge.blogspot.com)

This card was created using a svg file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.

The base of this card is made using ReCollections card stock and patterned paper from the Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper Stack - "Stacked with Love".

My paper pieced bear and mug are from the Love Cocoa Bear file at KaDoodle Bug Designs, which you can find here: http://kadoodlebugdesigns.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3&products_id=651.  I uploaded this file to Design Space and cut out each piece using my Cricut Explore. Once all my pieces were cut, I then used Color Box Chalk Inks to shade each piece. To adhere them together, I used Aleene's Tacky Glue. Once my cute little Cocoa Bear was assembled, I used a white Gelly Roll Pen to add some highlights.

In designing the base of the card, I used washi tape from Doodlebug Designs Inc. (Sweet Heart) and ran two strips diagonally. I added my paper pieced bear to the card and added a red rosette to the top right corner. My sentiment "You Fill My Heart" is from the Valentine's Day Stamp Set from ReCollections. I stamped it onto a banner using Color Box Chalk Ink (Lipstick Red).

To complete my card, I added four Rouge sequins from Craft Medley to the top left corner.

I hope that you enjoy my creation and will come back and visit again real soon!!

"Got Milk & Cookies"...

Hi everybody!  Today I am sharing this adorable "Got Milk & Cookies" card I created.  I picked up this Limited Edition file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  With both of my daughters in Girl Scouts, and being a Troop Leader myself, I just had to show support for all my fellow Girl Scouts.  This file is only available till January 20, 2016 and with every purchase, the proceeds go toward the Girl Scouts Gift of Caring Donation, for our soldiers.

To begin, I uploaded this file to Design Space and cut out the pieces using my Cricut Explore.  I used both ReCollections and Bazzill cardstock.  I then used my Color Box Chalk Inks to shade each piece. I adhered them together using Aleene's Tacky Glue. Once dried, I used a white gel pen to add some final touches and highlights to my adorable cow.

For the base of my card, I attached my paper piecing, again using Aleene's Tacky Glue.  I had the perfect stamp, "Got milk & cookies" which is from Craftin' Desert Diva's - Holly Day Punnies stamp set. I stamped that onto my card base using Jet Black StazOn Ink.

For added embellishments, I used polka-dotted decorative tape from Recollections and added a small button (also from ReCollections) on one end of each piece of tape.

I hope you like my creation for today. Have a great day and I'll see you again soon.

Flakey Friends

Hello everybody. Today I'd like to share my inspiration for the Leinzlove Tear Bear Challenge Blog
http://leinzlovetearbearchallenge.blogspot.com

This card measures 5.5" x 8.5" and was created using a svg file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.

The base of this card was made using card stock from KI Memories - Holiday Collection - Alpine Wonderland.

My paper pieced snowmen and snowflakes are from the "Frosty Friends" file at KaDoodle Bug Designs, which you can find here: http://kadoodlebugdesigns.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3&products_id=363

I uploaded the file to Design Space and cut out the pieces using my Cricut Explore. Once all my pieces were cut, I then used Color Box Chalk Inks to shade each piece. I then used Aleene's Tacky Glue to adhere and piece them together.

To finish off my paper piecing, I used a white gel pen to add some highlights and added Stickles to the snowflakes and snowballs.

To create my sentiment, I first used a Banner Die from Craftin' Desert Divas

I then stamped my "Flakey Friends" sentiment onto the die. This stamp is from the Craftin' Desert Divas - Holly Day Punnies stamp set

I added a purple button and some twine (both from ReCollections) to finish off my card.

I hope you enjoyed today's creation. Thank you for visiting and I hope to see you again soon!
