Sending Love...

Happy Friday!!! Today I am sharing a card I created for the Craftin Desert Divas February Moodboard Challenge. And with Valentine's Day right around the corner, what could be better then "Sending Love"!!!

This card was fun to make and super easy too! I started off by creating my card base and cutting my mats and all of my die cut pieces I wanted to use. I rounded the corners of my card base and one of the mats. I inked up the edges of the mats, die cut hearts and die cut tag. I stamped my sentiment onto the tag and then played around and arranged the hearts how I wanted them on my card. I added the gold cording to the back of each heart and pulled them together by tying them in a bow attached to my sentiment tag and added a small red button to finish it off. I am very pleased with the outcome and can't wait to send it off to someone.

Card Base: 

ReCollections Ivory 110lb Cardstock (cut down to 9 x 6 1/4 and corners rounded using Fiskars Corner Rounder)

Card Mats: 

ReCollections Signature ESpecial Glittered Cardstock (cut down to 4 3/8 x 6 1/8 and corners rounded using Fiskars Corner Rounder)

DCWV - The Primrose Stack was die cut using Craftin Desert Divas - Picture Frame Die

Hearts:

Patterned Paper from Pebbles - Yours Truly 6x6 Paper Pad & ReCollections - Valentine's Day 6x6 Paper Pad were die cut using Craftin Desert Divas - Mini Shaker Clip Dies

Sentiment Tag:

ReCollections cardstock was die cut using Craftin Desert Divas - Tag Essentials Dies

Sentiment:

Stamped onto Tag using Craftin Desert Divas - Sending Love Stamp Set

Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Vintage Photo) was used to ink the edges of the mats, hearts and sentiment tag.

Sentiment was stamped onto the tag using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and Gold Stickles were added as well.

Balloon strands and bow were created using Metallic Gold Cording and the small red button came from my stash.
